Terms of Service

These terms govern your booking and use of services from Detail District LLC (“Detail District,” “we,” “us”), a mobile auto-detailing business based in Friendswood, TX. By booking a service or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Our services
Detail District provides mobile detailing — including exterior detail, interior detail, Full Detail, Wash, Clay & Seal, ceramic coating, and paint correction — performed at your location across Friendswood, TX and the greater Houston metro, or, by arrangement, as a drop-off at our location in Friendswood. We are a detailing service and do not perform dent repair or bodywork; we are not a body shop. We bring our own detailing equipment and products; for mobile jobs you’ll need to provide access to a power outlet and a water spigot at the service location.
Licensed & insured
Detail District is a licensed and insured business. Through Simply Business, we carry general liability insurance and garagekeepers coverage, which protects your vehicle while it’s in our care.
Service area & travel fee
Our standard service area is Friendswood, TX and the first 15 miles from it. Past that, the travel fee is $1 per mile beyond the service area, measured in driving miles from Friendswood (the distance Google Maps gives). Our travel limit is 20 miles past the service area. We’ll confirm any travel fee with you before your appointment.
Booking & deposits
When you book, you agree to provide accurate contact, vehicle, and location details. For our detailing packages and ceramic coatings, a 20% deposit secures your appointment, charged by card immediately when you book online. A deposit is required for every online booking. The remaining balance is due on-site by card, cash, or Zelle. Prices shown may vary based on vehicle size and condition; for custom jobs specifically, final pricing is confirmed after inspecting your vehicle in person, and booking goes through a request-a-quote process rather than instant booking.
Cancellations & rescheduling
- Each reschedule takes another 20% deposit, which comes off your remaining balance, so you pay less on the day. You can reschedule up to 2 times; asking a third time cancels the booking, and no deposits are returned. A reschedule deposit sent as a payment link must be paid, or we can't book with you again.
- Cancel with 24+ hours' notice and your original deposit is refunded (reschedule deposits are kept).
- Inside 24 hours, canceling carries a fee of $49 or 20% of the job total, whichever is higher, and the deposits are kept.
- No-shows keep the deposit and are charged an additional 20% of the job total.
- Fees are charged to the card used for your deposit. By paying a deposit, you authorize us to save that card and charge it for any fee described above.
- If weather doesn’t allow for a quality detail, we’ll reach out to reschedule at no charge.
Your responsibilities (mobile service)
Because we come to you, you agree to provide:
- Safe, legal, and reasonable access to the vehicle and a space to work, with access to a power outlet and a water spigot.
- Any access information needed (gate codes, parking instructions).
- Disclosure of relevant vehicle condition (pre-existing damage, sensitive surfaces, aftermarket modifications).
Please clear out your center console, glove box, and trunk of personal belongings before your appointment — we are not responsible for items left inside.
Results, disclaimers & limitation of liability
We take great care with every vehicle. However, services are provided as described, and we make no guarantee of removing every imperfection — results depend on your vehicle’s condition going in. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or defects, or for issues arising from a vehicle’s prior condition. To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Detail District LLC’s total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages.
If you have a concern about a completed service, contact us promptly and we’ll do our best to make it right.
Coating warranties
Every ceramic coating comes with a warranty on the coating on your paint: System X’s manufacturer warranty on the 2 Year, the 6 Year, and the 10 Year at its regular price, or, on the 10 Year at its special price, our own Detail District 10-Year Limited Warranty. Payment
By booking, you authorize the deposit charge associated with your appointment, along with any applicable cancellation or no-show forfeiture described above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Galveston County, Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
